The 12-year-old Spartanburg, South Carolina resident plans to attend Camp Pinnacle in Flat Rock for the sixth straight year. And she won’t miss her screens.  “It’s really fun to get off the electronics and hang out with kids your age and play outside,” she said. John Dockendorf, Executive Director of Camp Pinnacle, said that’s a familiar refrain at his camp and at others throughout the region.
