Where are floods expected in Worcester today (25 January)

NO FEWER than 10 flood warnings – where the public is advised that “action is required” – are in place in and around Worcester. Each of them is highlighted along the River Severn between Grimley and Upton with flooding expected to continue at a number of notorious hotspots. Starting to the north of the city, Camp Lane, Bevere and low-lying property at Hawford Wood is said to be at risk with Newport Street, Park View Terrace, The Butts and King Stephen s Mount expected to continue to suffer flooding as the problems travel south. The A449 North Quay, Croft Road, Hylton Road Gyratory, Tybridge Street and A44 New Road are also on the radar.
