He added the needs of the community are similar to when Camp Cadiz was held in 2019.
As the cost of building supplies increased during the pandemic, Frye said they would be relying on monetary donations to help them get the items they need to complete each project. Any donations to Camp Cadiz can be dropped off at the Little River Baptist Association at 149 Old Dover Road between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays.
The theme for this year’s program will be ‘Get Out of the Boat.’

HARRISBURG, Ill. (KFVS) - The Shawnee National Forest has announced their 2021 Fee-Free Days.
Many of their campgrounds will have the fees waved on special days throughout 2021.
It is a part of the U.S. Forest Service’s federal land management fee-free program.
Shawnee National Forest campgrounds include Garden of the Gods, Pounds Hollow, Camp Cadiz, Pine Hills and Johnson Creek.
Concessionaire operated campgrounds are not included in the fee waiver.
2021 Fee-Free Days are:
January 18 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which honors the legacy of the civil rights leader and encourages Americans to participate in the MLK Day of Service.

With the arrival of the winter season, the U.S. Forest Service reminds the public about season closures which are in effect across the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois.
Seasonal road closures were scheduled to start the week of Dec. 14.
A list of seasonally closed roads and exact dates can be seen on the Motor Vehicle Use Map, which is available at any Shawnee National Forest office or online at www.fs.usda.gov/main/shawnee/maps-pubs.
Some campgrounds were scheduled to close Dec. 15, including the Red Bud (Bell Smith Springs), Pine Ridge (Pounds Hollow), Johnson Creek and Tower Rock campgrounds.
