Epic Games announced through the official Fortnite Twitter account that Street Fighter’s Guile and Cammy will be making their way to the massively popular battle royale title. Each character, which can be purchased in the item shop on August 7, will come with two outfits, plus Guile’s K.O. Backbling and Cammy’s Borealis Backer Backbling.
Guile’s outfits are his classic green fatigues look first debuted in Street Fighter II, along with a beach-ready version of the outfit called the Glistening Guile Variant. The handcuffs at his waist are a clever reference to a famous glitch in SFII’s arcade version, in which executing a certain move while the foe is dizzy “handcuffs” or freezes them in place. Meanwhile, Cammy is wearing a modified version of her iconic outfit from her debut, along with the Tactical Cammy Variant costume.
Fortnite expands Guile’s hair and makes Cammy family-friendly
Street Fighter’s Cammy and Guile are two of the series’ most beloved characters, and after Ryu and Chun-Li made their way into Fortnite, it was only natural that these two would hop into the battle royale crossover next. The Fortnite-friendly designs of both are sure to draw some attention, though.
Guile’s hair is intense in this Fortnite skin, as is his steely gaze. The default outfit features his classic look, and there’s an alt option that gives him a beach bodybuilder look. Cammy’s gotten a bit more modest here, with a slightly less revealing bodysuit and leggings underneath – maybe thongs are more tactically inefficient in a gunfight than they are a street brawl, I dunno. Her alt outfit puts her in camo pants and a tactical vest.
Fortnite has already been graced by a couple of characters from the Street Fighter world. Why not add a few more? The Street Fighter 5 Summer Update 2021 stream briefly took a side step from news about Capcom s fighter and jumped into the world of Epic s battle royale shooter to announce that the franchise s two top soldiers, Guile and Cammy, are jumping into the fray.
Both Guile and Cammy will be available on the Fortnite Item Shop starting this
Saturday, August 7 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Both characters will be available with their classic Street Fighter looks, but they ll also have a few variant outfits available. Guile will have a Glistening Guile outfit and K.O. Back Bling, while Cammy will have a Tactical Cammy variant and Borealis Backer Back Bling. All outfits and Back Blings will be included in the Cammy & Guile Bundle.

The star-studded list of video game characters heading to Fortnite simply keeps on growing as Epic Games confirms Street Fighter stars Cammy and Guile will be available for purchase in the Item Shop starting this Saturday. After a little teaser today, Epic Games has revealed that Cammy and Guile from
Street fighter ii will join
Fortnite At the end of the week. Along with this, a special tournament will be held, with which you can get one of these special skins ahead of time.
As the official battle royale site points out,
Cammy and Guile will arrive as skins to
Fortnite next August 8. In addition to the classic clothing, each character will have a special costume. Also on sale are Guile’s Knuckle Buster, Cammy’s Delta Red Scythe Pickaxe, and V-Trigger’s Vector Hang Glider.
