I love to walk its perimeter, retreat to its quiet steps to drink coffee and attempt to read. I love eating tacos alone in my car in the parking lot, enjoying a picnic with friends in its shade, and watching crawfish scuttle under rocks, over slow-bubbling yet still active springs that once provided the area a viable water supply.
