COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 25 Missouri softball (29-17) powered past Saint Louis (20-22), 9-3, with the help of six extra base hits Wednesday afternoon. Brooke Wilmes broke the Tigers' all-time extra base hit record, becoming the first Mizzou player to reach 100. RECAP After scoreless frames in the first and second, the Tigers got on the board in the third. Emma Raabe cranked a solo home run down the left field line to get the scoring started before Brooke Wilmes added a two-run shot giving Mizzou a three-run cushion. The Billikens got a run back in the top of the fourth on a pair of singles and a ground-rule double off the bat of Cami Newbanks. The Tigers put up three runs once again in the home half. Casidy Chaumont and Kara Daly each singled to put runners on the corners with two outs. As Kara Daly stole second, the attempted pickoff throw to third was offline allowing Chaumont to run home.
