Press Sports Editor sports@presspublications.com Competing against the best Ohio had to offer, Eastwood’s Leah Emch earned all-Ohio honors for her efforts at the Division II state cross country tournament, finishing 14th out of 178 runners in 19 minutes, 14.35 seconds.
Press Sports Editor sports@presspublications.com Behind four top-five finishes, Eastwood won the Northern Buckeye Conference Meet. The Eagles had seven runners finish in the top 13 and easily won the meet with 23 points, followed by Woodmore (40) and Genoa (86).
Team depth wins championships and the Eastwood girls cross country team proved that at the Northern Buckeye Conference meet.. Woodmore junior Olivia Vogelpohl won the individual race, but the host Eagles took the next five spots to win the team championship.
