Phillip Cormier, 56, was not in a crosswalk when he crossed Lisbon Street and was struck by a vehicle, reports say. When the vehicle, driven by Cameron Marr, 36, came to a stop, passenger Deleon Henry, 31, fled the scene. Cormier sustained several injuries including broken bones, while Marr and his 5-year-old daughter reported no injuries.

GREENE – Gary M. Tiner, 93, of Greene died at his home on April 4, 2021, with his loving family at his side. He was born March 23, 1928, the son of Gary and Catherine Keough Tiner. Raised in Lewiston, he attended grade school there and graduated from Lewiston High in 1945.
Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as an instructor of international code and as a sergeant and radio team chief in the newly formed 20th Signal Air-Ground Liason Company at Fort Bragg, N.C.
