Dogecoin, the meme cryptocurrency styled after an internet-famous Shiba Inu which was launched as a joke in 2013, is having another hell of a week. The price of the meme crypto had dropped down a bit following April’s dramatic spike, but it surged back up again on Tuesday briefly hitting an all-time high of $0.60. The popular trading platform Robinhood crashed amid the trading frenzy, just as it had the last time doge-mania struck last month. The Indian crypto platform WazirX briefly went down, as well. And many Dogecoin fans and investors are now hoping the hype can build enough to boost the price of the crypto up to a dollar in the coming days.

While most of their repertoire is vocal-led, co-founder Ryan David Green says he was inspired by the fretwork of electric guitar-slingers like Joe Satriani and acoustic legends like Béla Fleck. “I love instrumental music,” Green told The Bluegrass Situation. “I came up with the main theme for this one in a green room, just before a show back in 2016.
