Matchmaker offers Valentine s Day tips for the COVID era

(submitted/Lianne Tregobov) Looking for love can be difficult at the best of times, but throwing in a pandemic into the mix could make it downright frustrating. That’s according to Lianne Tregobov, the owner of Camelot Introductions, a matchmaking service that pairs up couples in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Tregobov said the sense of loneliness that single people often feel on Valentine’s Day is magnified by the pandemic. “It emphasizes the isolation, it emphasizes a position and a place where people don’t want to be,” she explained. “A lot of people who aren’t in relationships and who aren’t going to celebrate Valentine’s Day, they just want to go to sleep, wake up and have that day gone.”
