Philadelphias Water Department says they started getting cams at about 8 30 this morning about a massive amount of water flowing down germantown avenue toward jefferson. They did have to evacuate a day care as a precaution. We were told no injuries there, and they do not believe they had any water in the basement. Thats a key element that the Water Department is looking at is how many homes along here were affected, had water damage at all. In this particular case, the Water Department says this was work that had been ongoing for in time. Residents were not expecting to wake up to this today. It come fast. I couldnt cross the street.
