SPRINGFIELD, Ore.- A former member of the Springfield Board of Realtors resigned after she suggested a change in meeting venues because of controversy surrounding the group s current location, Along Came Trudy, a restaurant in Springfield.
Kaydee Hallert is a real estate broker based in Eugene. She told KEZI 9 News she was given an ultimatum. Either you resign, or we re going to vote you out, said Hallert.

A Springfield restaurant is keeping its doors open for indoor dining in defiance of orders from Gov. Kate Brown and the Oregon Health Authority as COVID-19 continues to spread across the state and in Lane County.
Along Came Trudy a local café and events center opened for indoor dining on Monday, according to KEZI News, which first reported the story. The restaurant has continued to stay open for indoor dining throughout the week despite OHA rules prohibiting it. The restaurant still was operating with indoor dining Friday afternoon an hour before closing, with some citizens standing guard outside the restaurant as owner Trudy Logan and employees served patrons.
