A Springfield restaurant is keeping its doors open for indoor dining in defiance of orders from Gov. Kate Brown and the Oregon Health Authority as COVID-19 continues to spread across the state and in Lane County. Along Came Trudy a local café and events center   opened for indoor dining on Monday, according to KEZI News, which first reported the story. The restaurant has continued to stay open for indoor dining throughout the week despite OHA rules prohibiting it. The restaurant still was operating with indoor dining Friday afternoon an hour before closing, with some citizens standing guard outside the restaurant as owner Trudy Logan and employees served patrons.
