(Columbia, SC) A Democratic state lawmaker is calling for a Camden Republican to resign.
Representative Vic Dabney posted a statement on Facebook in opposition of the hate crime bill being considered at the state House.
In the now deleted post, Dabney said it s our whiteness and our straightness that keeps getting in the way.
Representative John King says the statement was overtly racist and deeply offensive.
