Camden Hills boys lacrosse returns to winning ways against Cony

ROCKPORT The Camden Hills varsity boys lacrosse team found itself back to its winning ways Tuesday, May 11 at home in Rockport against Cony (2-4). Coming off its lone loss of the season, the host Windjammers boosted its record to 5-1 Tuesday.

Camden Hills boys lacrosse suffers first loss of season

OAKLAND  After defeating Mount Ararat for the first time in program history last week, the Camden Hills varsity boys lacrosse team hoped to achieve the same feat on the road Tuesday, May 4 against Messalonskee in Oakland.  Instead, the undefeated Windjammers found itself suffering its first loss of the season 10-3 at the hands of the undefeated Eagles.   With the loss, Camden Hills’ record drops to 4-1. Messalonskee, meanwhile, improved its standing to 6-0.  “I absolutely love playing teams like Messalonskee because they are one of the great teams that challenges us, always brings their A game, and shows us what we can improve on for a potential playoff run,” said Camden Hills head coach Harrison Rogers. “We are hoping to have a chance to see them again in the playoffs.” 

Camden Hills boys lacrosse clinches season-opening victory

Thursday, April 18, 2019 ROCKPORT  The Camden Hills varsity boys lacrosse team opened the season Tuesday, April 20 exactly how it wanted to  with a victory  though the Windjammers were certainly challenged during its quest for a season-opening victory in Rockport.  In a battle of a contest against Brewer, the host Windjammers earned itself a 13-10 victory to kick the season off with a 1-0 record.  Shining for Camden Hills in the season opener were Levi Guay (three goals, four assists), Willy Doehla (four goals, one assist), Charlie Griebel (two goals, one assist, five ground balls), Nolan Delehey (goal, five ground balls, won 15 of 21 faceoffs), Jackson Fitch (two goals, two assists, seven ground balls), Eben Fagonde (goal), Noah Quesnel (assist, three ground balls), Rory Carlson (seven ground balls) and Elias Libby (seven ground balls).
