A former Camden Catholic High School teacher pleaded guilty and was sentenced Friday to four years in prison for repeatedly sexual assaulting a onetime student, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Bridget Sipera, 37, of Cherry Hill, admitted to one count of endangering the welfare of a child as part of an agreement with prosecutors, Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer announced.
She also must forfeit her teaching license, register as sex offender under Megan’s Law, undergo lifetime supervised parole and have no contact with the victim, Mayer said in a statement.

A former South Jersey high school teacher has been sentenced on charges related to the repeated sexual assault of a former student.
Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer says 37-year-old Bridget Sipera of Cherry Hill, who formerly worked as a teacher at Camden Catholic High School, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and was sentenced to four years in state prison on Friday.

Mayer s office says Sipera was charged last August after an investigation revealed she repeatedly sexually assaulted a student beginning in January, 2019, when the student was 17-years-old. Detectives said the sexual assault continued through March, 2020.
