No problems today. Quiet day. Mostly sunny skies. Tomorrow from the Early Morning hours close to the south coast to early afternoon closer to boston and worcester some patchy light snow breaking out. Still a question of how far the accumulating snow will get to the north. Were riding the edge of this storm the whole time. It looks like the best chance for accumulating snow in the city of boston would be late tomorrow, tomorrow evening and wrapping up early on sunday morning. How much snow are we expecting . Generally 1 to 3 along the coastline. Close to the city of boston, maybe an inch or two of snow. Higher totals settling off to the south. Now, there is a winter storm watch posted along the immediate south coast of new england here, stretching essentially from cape cod back through the islands, down through buzzards bay and along that 95 stretch into connecticut. If there are towns that will exceed 6 inches of snow, i think it would be right along the immediate coast pending how muc
Latest track. Jeremy that is where we have the winter storm warning in effect, green and red indicating blizzard watches and warnings. We will still be on the Northern Edge of the weather system and the exact track is not locked down. A tricky forecast, here on the Northern Edge of the storm in southern new england. Some snow likely in boston but at this time im still thinking most of the accumulating snow is on the south coast. Clear in new england now as through the day tomorrow, here is the storm system, powerful thunderstorms that are on the gulf coast, that moves to the northeast as does the storm, so as we work toward saturday, moves off the virginia cape and tries to move north to new england but High Pressure looks like it will still be locked down, not allowing the storm to barrel up to southern new england. Danielle niles tos is in tracking the storm and this thing really has started to gaining gaining . Reengt we have white new pink greens orange red and light ening across the gulf coast and a sign of how much energy there is with storm. Snow is advancing across virginia now and the storm center is going to redevelop here off the carolina coast. This is the classic set up that will strengthen as it moves off the delmarva coastline later today. So what does it mean for us . We know the midatlantic will get blasted with a major travel disruption from new york back down to the carolinas. We are on the edge. The main impact for us will be along the south coast cape and islands for snow and wind. We are also watching the coastline closely as well with the full moon and rough seas and again on sunday mornin
