Visitors Bureau marks tourism week with puzzle activity

The Cambridge/Guernsey County Visitors and Convention Bureau will mark National Travel and Tourism Week May 2-8.
Starting on May 3, residents can stop by the tourist information center pick up instructions and a clue sheet to 18 participating tourism partners to build a puzzle. Participants can visit at least five of the partners during the week to get their puzzle pieces and return them to the information center no later than May 10 to redeem a gift and be entered into a chance to win an overnight in one of our hotels.

With the arrival of warmer weather and COVID-19 vaccines, many of the annual events that were canceled last year due to the pandemic will be returning to the downtown Cambridge area.
Cambridge Main Street and the city of Cambridge have multiple events scheduled to take place over the next several months.
For those who reminisce about the days of flower power, bell-bottoms and parachute pants, The Cambridge Main Street Flashback Dance is the event to attend. With a flower power theme this year, the dance will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center at 7033 Glenn Highway.
