Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, BMC today gave its nod for conducting various board examinations in the city. Allowing the state, national and international education boards to conduct physical exams in the city, the civic body has agreed that not allowing exams could result in loss of a year.
Meanwhile, schools and colleges in Mumbai city under BMC jurisdiction continue to remain closed. As per the last order, schools would remain closed till January 15, 2021. The announcement regarding reopening of schools from January 16 or 18, however, has not been made as yet.
