The spontaneous shock and anger we saw in the streets in the immediate aftermath of two grand jury decisions involving police use of deadly force against unarmed black suspects turned into a National Call to action today. The biggest turnout was in washington, d. C. , with thousands of marchers and organizers demanded reforms in how the Justice System deals with such cases and Greater Police accountability. The controversial deaths in ferguson, missouri and new yorks Staten Island involve white officers.
