To get there and secure the fourth and final spot, Bellarmine (4-10, 1-4 SoCon) needs to defeat Mercer (5-7, 2-3) on Saturday in Louisville, a couple hours before the Kentucky Derby takes place at Churchill Downs five miles west of Owsley B. Frazier Stadium. Richmond, the top seed in the SoCon who will host the tournament next week, also has to take care of business against Air Force.
