WEATHER REPORT AND TIDES Rainy skies will cloud over the Coast today as the weather bureau predicts a 50 per cent chance of showers. Temperatures will remain below 30C with Maroochydore, Noosa Heads and Caloundra topping the list at 28C, followed by Nambour with 27C and Maleny with 25C. Winds are south-easterly 15 to 25km/h, becoming light in the evening. A 50 per cent chance of showers remains over Saturday and Sunday. Up to 2m-high tides are expected for 8.39am on Friday and 1.43m high tides at 8.44pm. Friday is a full moon. Â
TRAFFIC Roadworks remain on Sippy Downs Drive in Sippy Downs, Mons Rd in Forest Glen and Peachester Rd, Peachester - expect delays.

The weather bureau predicts Maroochydore to be partly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of a shower. Winds are southerly, 15 to 20km/h, turning south-easterly 20 to 30 km/h during the morning then becoming light in the evening. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 28C in Maroochydore and Caloundra, 25C in Maleny and 28C in Nambour and Noosa Heads.
TRAFFIC Road works are continuing on Mons Rd, Forest Glen and a damaged bridge or culvert has been reported on David Low Way Bridge in Bli Bli - expect some delays there.

Itâs a humid day today with 29C being the highest temperature forecast for the Coast and a 70 per cent chance of showers during the morning and afternoon. There is also a chance of a thunderstorms during the afternoon. Light winds becoming north-easterly 15 to 20 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the evening.
Temperatures are expected to stay much the same over the weekend with a lower chance of rain.
The east swell is holding good sizes across the exposed beaches but waves are expected to deteriorate as the winds turn north-easterly. Semi-sheltered northern corners and south-tilting coasts will offer up the cleanest conditions all day.
