Final Chamber of Commerce forum in Middletown on January 31

The Lake County Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Lake County Record-Bee, Calpine Geothermal Visitor Center, and the Middletown High School Speech & Debate/Mock Trial students present their third and final candidate forum in a series of candidate forums for three supervisorial seats slated to appear on the March 5, 2024 election ballot.

The chartered tour bus winds up the mountain, swings around switchbacks, and groans against the steep grade before pulling out on a ridgeline that workers call the North Slope, referring to how cold it gets in the winter when the wind blows.
