Caloocan City Mayor Oca Malapitan on Monday said persons with disabilities (PWDs) as well as members of TODA and JODA, or associations of tricycle/jeepney operators and drivers in the city, will receive cash aid.
Malapitan said the financial assistance for these sectors will be taken from the remaining Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) “ayuda” allotted by the national government for Caloocan City.
In a radio interview, the mayor said the national government gave them permission to give the remaining funds to those who are in need.
“Meron namang instruction ang national government, binigyan kami ng maliit [na halaga] na pwedeng desisyunan.
