LAHORE (Dunya News) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar Monday called on Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and exchanged views on affairs of mutual interest including anti-corruption drive.
Chaudhry Sarwar said the incumbent government still stands on its stance of transparent accountability whereas Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) wants to end this process and save its corruption.
The governor said, “No one can question Prime Minsiter Imran Khan’s honesty. Opposing the bill of open voting is synonymous with supporting horse-trading. The opposition cannot accept merit and transparency in any matter.”
