tone than that. there was a tweet this morning erin from the president in which he suggested that mccabe s personal notes are self-serving, notes that we believe have already been turned over to robert mueller and the investigation. how valuable are these memos with respect to russia and the president? very. and remember that comey had his own memos that mueller has used, as well. and all of people know about taking these copious notes and taking them quite well. right now, you have what s going on is he said versus he said, and people know that president trump has a history of lying whereas many of these people in the fbi have taken these notes and know exactly how to live by the letter of the law. so those notes are going to be incredibly important. erin mcpike and sarah westwood, good to see you both. coming up next, the silencing of stormy. a new report claims that trump s attorney found a way to keep the porn star s story a secret. was there a payoff or something

look, you re a criminal defense attorney. do you think that the president is being well served by his personal attorney, michael cohen. if he s been trying to suppress all of this since 2011, do you think a better attorney might have already zpedispensed with s matter and we wouldn t even be here talking about it? well, probably and possibly. but at the same time, i wouldn t say that the defense lawyer has done a bad job here. he tried to work through he has to deal with a client. the client s conduct is what he has to deal with. and the client is dealing with a lot of conduct that he doesn t want exposed, then it s up to the lawyer to fix it. i think he s always going to have problems trying to suppress conduct on the part of the president. and he can only do the best he can, he can work out these deals. some of these deals have been pretty good. he s silenced a lot of people, from what i understand, and he even silenced this particular person. now it s come forward, whether it s
investigati investigator s sails, if you will. and it also keeps them away from putting the president in a position of having to answer questions. remember, he s not subject to donald trump is not subject to the nda, because he didn t sign it, which means he can t cited fit the fda comes and asks questions. i think what cohen did was push back against a possible fec investigation. and in that regard, he may have violated the nda, the first one to violate the nda, thus opening up the argument that daniels can violate it, too. i see where you re going with all of this, but this is speculative, certainly, at this point. yeah. but what we do know is for the first time, the president has attached his name to this ongoing legal battle, because there s the move to, as you ve pointed out earlier, get this case to federal court. move it from the state of california. so was this a smart move? well, it s a smart move let me finish, wendy. all right. go ahead.
