It happened at 5:30am early this morning in the town s Allen Court.
The victims are ages 40 and 33.
It s understood a weapon was used, but those who were assaulted didn t end up with any serious injuries.
Officers are treating the incident as isolated and say the two men who committed the attack are under six foot in height.
Detective Inspector Chris Dow of CID in Kirkcaldy said: The victims, aged 33 and 40 were within their home address when two men entered the house and assaulted them. It is understood a weapon was used but fortunately it did not result in the victims suffering any serious injuries.
