Governor Jay Inslee signed a proclamation in March requiring all public K-12 schools to provide an in-person learning option by April 19. The Bellingham School District has been phasing in students over the last few weeks, and recently gave families the option to have students increase the number of days per week in the classroom. The Ferndale, Lynden and Blaine districts are also allowing for in-person learning, while still offering remote options for those interested. Featured Content

WASHINGTON STATE - On Monday, April 19, tens of thousands of middle and high school students across Washington state returned to classrooms for the first time in more than a year.  Back in March, Gov. Jay Inslee signed a proclamation that ordered districts to bring back all students for in-person learning at some capacity by April 19. Most schools have opted for a hybrid model of part in-person learning and part remote learning.
