Free, rapid lateral flow covid test available from Newark Sports and Fitness Centre from April 9  | Updated: 15:38, 07 April 2021 All Newark and Sherwood residents over 18 will be able to access free, rapid lateral flow tests (LFDs) for themselves and their families to use twice a week. From April 9, in line with the government announcement, people aged 18 and over in Nottinghamshire will be able to collect two boxes of seven tests per person or four boxes per family from the county council s asymptomatic community testing sites. The site at the Newark Sports and Fitness Centre is open from 8am to 6pm Tuesday to Friday and 8:30 am to 1pm on Saturdays. The mobile site in Ollerton will be open every Monday and Thursday from 10am to 5:30pm.
