Truecaller has launched an AI-based virtual assistant feature named Truecaller Assistant that can answer calls, the company has revealed. The assistant is cloud-based and works in English, Hindi and "Indianised" Hinglish. When the assistant receives a call, the user receives a transcript of the conversation on the app. Truecaller Assistant was originally known as Call Hero and was acquired by Truecaller post launch.
