Mateo bridge just past the toll plaza and this is stacked up already for the monday morning commute. We are more delays to tell you about but first lets check the weather with Neda Iranpour. I am watching the doppler to show you what is going on, a lot of lightning strikes happening right now, some strong bands of rain coming through and places to the south, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara along the 101 and interstate 5, this strong sell picks up south of monterey, this is not necessarily our region but all of this is moving north and is expected to reach her area tonight. Look at these lightning strikes west of king city, soledad, and monterey could be next. You can see all the cloud cover so look for cloudy to mostly cloudy days. Eventually pushing in tuesday and wednesday meaning we have the possibility of lightning and thunder storms. 70, 80, 90s. Very muggy today. You have a couple things going on. Sal, what we have going on. We are starting on the ultimate crash because of a motorcyclist crash. I want to let you know how very slow it is on 580 and 205. Much slower than normal. Whether it is you are driving or perhaps you are waiting for someone coming in from the valley to get to the worksite, they are going to be late. I would say legitimately so because of the slow traffic caused by the motorcycle wreck. Not on 680 we had a truck that was there in the lanes. That has been cleared, however southbound traffic is still slow leaving pleasanton northbound 680 should start recovery. San mateo bridge we had
Steve on the ultima pass. We are just off of that westbound 580. We have a motorcycle accident westbound 580 just before the north exit. This had been already a slow commute but now it is even slower involving a motorcyclist in a construction truck because it is construction going on on the ultima pass. Now 205 is backed up a lot more than it normally is in 580 is very slow. If you drive from tracy or you are driving in lets say from even further than that and use the tracy triangle you need an extra 20 minutes just to stay on schedule. Hearing this you may want to even leave the house a half hour earlier. Downstream livermore and dublin looks pretty good all the way into castro valley. 880 and oakland looking good in both directions. At the bay bridge we are getting a little bit of a crowd.
