North County residents are now able to get COVID-19 vaccines closer to home starting Sunday, as San Diego County opens a Vaccination Super Station at California State University San Marcos Sports Center. San Diego County Board of Supervisors Chair Nathan Fletcher and Supervisor Jim Desmond opened the county s third Vaccination Super Station at CSUSM Sunday, with the first patients with appointments able to get a dose of the vaccine starting at 9:30 a.m.

SAN MARCOS (CNS) - North County residents will be able to get COVID-19 vaccines closer to home starting today, as San Diego County opens a Vaccination Super Station at California State University San Marcos Sports Center.
San Diego County Board of Supervisors Chair Nathan Fletcher and Supervisor Jim Desmond will open the county s third Vaccination Super Station at CSUSM Sunday, with the first patients with appointments able to get a dose of the vaccine starting at 9:30 a.m.
The site will be open to the public weekly from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Initially the site is expected to vaccinate 250 to 1,000 people per day, depending on the number of vaccines available, eventually building up-to 5,000+ vaccines daily.
