Christin ayers reports police werent ready. [ screaming ] reporter there is very little that was peaceful about this protest. [ screaming ] reporter some marchers hostile from the beginning. One protestors lunged for our camera mere moments after the march began. When the group blocked an intersection near city hall this driver lashed out. People come from other areas and they cause trouble thats whats frustrating. When some people come to do peaceful protest, then you have other people that come and and [ simultaneous speakers ] he is not with the struggle from this area. Reporter within an hour marchers were taking a detour through Jack London Square using rocks and skateboards to bash in 30 windows at a bevmo and subway some even stealing bottles of liquor.
