California needs the rain. Todays storm helped boost our water supply. Were dealing with the cold, wet, and windy weather. Its something else. Today a quickmoving storm soaked the bay area, dumping rain that overwhelmed drains and caused problems on the roads. Reporter parts of the bay area saw hail. A viewer sent us this video from outside his home in the castro district. And the highest peaks picked up some snow. 3,400 in the santa cruz mountains. The sierra got smacked with a lot of snow.
