People who like to go clamming along the Sonoma coastline will have to follow a new ban that’s now in effect. A 180-day ban is now in effect on the use of two-man hydraulic pumps in recreational clamming along the California coast. The ban can also be extended twice for 90 days each. The state Fish and Game Commission voted on the temporary ban last month, and it went into effect this week.
