Twitter India has appointed
Vinay Prakash as its new interim Resident Grievance Officer.
The move comes days after the Delhi High Court directed interim officers appointed by Twitter Inc under the
Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (IT Rules, 2021) to file affidavits stating that they will be responsible for dealing with any grievances raised.
On June 21, Twitter s earlier interim grievance officer, Dharmendra Chatur, withdrew from the post.
