CARLINVILLE Following last summer’s fair season devoid of livestock judging, carnival rides and grandstand entertainment west-central Illinois counties are champing at the bit to bring back the annual community celebrations of agricultural heritage.
The June 8-12 Macoupin County Fair in Carlinville one of the area’s earliest has big plans, with a concert by country music artist Hardy on June 10, a tractor pull June 11 and a demolition derby June 12.
