Calhoun City Police Chief arrested on embezzlement charge

PITTSBORO, Miss. (WTVA) The State Auditor s office has arrested the Calhoun City Police Chief on charges of embezzlement.
In a news release, the audit investigation says Latana Williams allegedly submitted time sheets claiming to be on the clock as police chief while she was actually working a second job at a Pontotoc County retail business.
State Auditor Shad White says time sheets from the Calhoun City Police Department were compared to those on her second job.
