Until recently, only parts of a stone circle in Nose Hill Park were visible to passersby, many of whom unknowingly walked straight through a site that is now the subject of an archaeological excavation aimed at uncovering more about the life of the Blackfoot people.
CMDC members, equipped with metal detectors, began going through Calgary’s outdoor recreation areas on April 1. They're getting rid of potentially hazardous items.
