Defence counsel Kim Ross, after lengthy consultations with his client outside court, said he was prepared to proceed to final arguments on Thursday.

“I am instructed by my client that we will not be calling any evidence,” Ross told Justice Blair Nixon.
Ross made the decision after Crown prosecutors Hyatt Mograbee and Robert Marquette closed their case following two weeks of evidence.
