While Groneberg’s love remains constant for the mall parking lot event that is more than six decades old and draws upwards of 60,000 hungry guests each July, this year Chinook Centre put on a decidedly different kind of pancake breakfast. This time, there is nary a waft of hot sausage and cakes to be sniffed and Groneberg, like the 100 or so others already lined up, are staying put in their vehicles.
