It’s probably not a big surprise to anyone that physical interactions have been kept to a minimum on the latest season of Masterchef Canada.
“It’s a COVID world,” wryly notes returning contestant Mai Nguyen who last appeared on season four of the popular show, back when fist bumps, high fives and hugs were the norm. “This season we weren’t allowed to mix together, really, and we had masks or face shields on all the time.”
