LINCOLNTON – Preparations are being made at the Lincoln County School of Technology for summer camps that’ll be like no others ever offered by the district.
Members of the Lincoln County Board of Education as well as Lincoln County Schools administrators shared district needs with N.C. Sen. Ted Alexander and Lincoln County N.C. Rep. Jason Saine during a breakfast Friday morning. These needs are similar to those from last yearâs breakfast with the addition of COVID-19-related needs and a request for opportunities for specialty vocational course instructors to be alternatively credentialed in order to build offerings.
The support that board of education members felt were critical included
Providing funding for continued COVID-19 response for operational and social/emotional needs of the school organization.
