The clarification was made after the ED and CBI told the Court that they have serious reservations about West Bengal Police probing the allegations against the TMC leader.

The Court said that the issue was serious and if the issue pertains to foreign made firearms, then the West Bengal Police would not be the appropriate agency to investigate the offence.
