Over $3 5 million In Pot Busts, One Involving Child Cruelty Charges

One of four pot bust in Calaveras County last week Calaveras County, CA – Just over 5,000 marijuana plants and 6 pounds of processed pot estimated at more than $3.5 million was seized in four busts in three Calaveras County communities, and one included child cruelty charges. The raids happened over two days, Thursday and Friday (May 13 & 14), of last week. The first one conducted by the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Unit was in the 3000 block of Tree Lane in Wilseyville. An estimated $539,000 worth of marijuana was found at the illegal grow. In all, deputies seized 765 pot plants and 6 pounds of processed marijuana with no suspects at the site.

Over $3 6 Million In Street Value Seized In Three Pot Raids

Drug bust Calaveras County, CA – Raids on three properties in three areas of Calaveras County resulted in over $3.6 million in pot seized, six guns and five arrests were made. Two of the searches happened on the same day, the third was conducted a week earlier. The warrants for illegal marijuana cultivation were served by the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Unit with the first at the end of last month. The unit found a home that had been converted into an indoor marijuana cultivation site in the 2000 block of Moro Road in San Andreas. Inside deputies found 741 growing marijuana plants and 52 pounds of processed marijuana with sheriff’s officials estimating a value exceeding $549,250.

Pot And Guns Seized In San Andreas Bust

Drugs and weapons seized by CCSO San Andreas, CA One man was arrested after a raid on a San Andreas home exposed an illegal grow worth nearly $25,000. The property located at 10400 block of Fricot City Road was searched by Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Unit. Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Greg Stark details, “Deputies seized 43 growing marijuana plants and 34 pounds of processed marijuana with an estimated value exceeding $24,000. Additionally, 7 firearms were seized.” He did not have any information on the types of guns found. Arrested at the scene was 42-year-old Timothy Lanning of San Andreas for illegal marijuana cultivation, possession of marijuana for sale, and maintaining a premise for sales of a controlled substance.
