for the worst for a lot of folks in this country. i m not getting any better particularly with the flood conditions in vermont. katie byrne is there with more. katie? neil, crews are racing to clear debris here in town of berry before more rain starts. you can see trucks pushing this mud in to one place. there s so much mud in this town. some is caked on storm drains. a big priority was to clean them out so the next round of rain drains a and we don t get more flooding. people are using snow shovels to use the mud. some are wearing gas masks and rain suits to clean out their homes. you ll see muddied furniture on the side of the road that can t be saved. it s beyond words. i live on a hill. my basement got flooded. so these people all around here, this guy couldn t leave his shop. he had to climb in the attic and stay here.
