Now, a vigil held for a 14 yearold shot and killed by another teenager. The police say they were playing with guns. Family members said this was a horrific accident in the teenagers were friends. Tonight the shooter is facing charges. We are live at the Miami Gardens Police Department with the story. Reporter we spoke to people on both sides of this tragedy, the heartbroken family of a 14 yearold boy shot and killed and a determined attorney of the accused shooter. Loved ones hugged and cried, gathering for vigils outside the home where taveras was shot and killed on saturday. He was sweet and funny and always laughing. Always dancing and making jokes. He was beautiful and i am glad we were able to be here to celebrate his life. Leave at a young age. Reporter police say 14year old friend was showing a gun to taveras and another friend when killing taveras. Police arrested a friend who remains unidentified because he is a minor. Im jessica dean. Ed snider was known first and for most as the moon brought the flyers to physical. Native of washington, d. C. He first came to the city in 1964 to become a part owner of the philadelphia eagles. Snider quickly became aware of philadelphias passion for sports. He spearheaded the effort to bring ice hockey to town and was successful in 1966. Snider created the spectrum and founded the sports and entertainment powerhouse spectacore. He had a hand in creating sports radio 610 wip and the Regional Cable Network prism. Snider endured a twoyear battle with Bladder Cancer and died today at the age of 83.
