EASTPOINTE/ROSEVILLE Students at Forest Park Elementary School in the Eastpointe Community Schools district welcomed a special guest who wished them well on their first day of school Aug. 28.
Eastpointe High School and 8th Grade Academy have been cleared after the school was put on lockdown Wednesday afternoon following social media threats.
EASTPOINTE Desmond Jamal Parks, 29, of Detroit, was arraigned April 11 in the 38th District Court for allegedly making threats against Forest Park Elementary School.
