Caitlin McCann, an employee of MVHS, has won her defamation lawsuit against former Oneida County Executive candidate, Dave Gordon.
Gordon lost a Republican primary to current county executive, Anthony Picente, in June, 2019. Around that time, Gordon publicly claimed that McCann had an affair with Picente, that the two had a child, and that McCann benefitted financially from the affair with the married county executive.
Cuomo says vaccination rate amongst healthcare workers needs to improve
Gov. Cuomo says he s concerned about new strains of COVID found in South Africa and Brazil, which along with the strain found in the UK could ultimately mean a second wave here in New York State and that is why hopsital workers need to be vaccinated.

Utica, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo says the vaccination rate amongst healthcare workers across the state is lower than he d like to see and needs to improve in the event of a second wave.
During his COVID-19 press briefing on Monday, Cuomo announced the current vaccinate rate for healthcare workers across the state is 62.8 percent.
