Sophomore Avery Ball scored four goals, and the Dos Pueblos defense turned in a stellar performance, shutting down CIF-SS Division 1 Oak Park in a 10-4 season-opening girls lacrosse victory on Monday night at Scott O Leary Stadium.

ENFIELD, CT U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney has released projected allocations that towns in Connecticut s second Congressional district could receive under the American Rescue Plan, the next federal relief bill related to the coronavirus pandemic. The bill is currently under what Courtney is terming bipartisan consideration in the House of Representatives.
According to current estimates, local governments east of the Connecticut River could be receiving at least $167 million through the new relief package, in addition to more than $100 million in aid designated for counties that would be proportionately distributed under an entitlement formula.
