thanks for joining us here on kron. 4 news at noon. i m noelle bellow tragedy struck the city of san jose over the weekend. police say a man who shot and killed a safeway employee is still on the run. the latest act of violence has rocked the community there. kron four s charles clifford joining us now live from san jose with the very latest updates from police this afternoon. charles. yeah, good afternoon. so the san jose police department gave us a briefing just a short time ago. a little bit of an update on this case. but let s start by looking at some video and talking about what we know so far now around 3.35. on sunday morning, the san jose police department responded to this safeway, which is along hamilton avenue in the 1500 block on reports of shots fired. they found one man inside the safeway suffering from a gunshot wound. he unfortunately died at the scene. and these investigators began questiouing everybody in the area looking for any witnesses, unfortunately
